What a summer! Our market trip, with all our hard work, wine and late night knitting, is paying off!! Boxes arrived this week and we are stocking the shelves. Come by this weekend to pet the new yarn!
August classes are posted on the website! Our knitting with beads classes are so much fun! We have a great Beading Basics class this Saturday! If you have an interest in seeing what this is about....call to join us for Saturday's class from 1-3:30pm. (768-5599)
Our Yarn Camp is full speed ahead this week with our final "Fiber Arts Fair" this Friday. It has been a treat to be able to work with these amazing kids this summer. We may be doing some holiday workshops when the girls are on break from school. Of course, you'll be the first to know! Check out these cute pictures and beautiful yarn the campers hand-dyed.
And lastly, thanks to all who knit and crocheted donated items. We filled our basket for both Scarves of Hope and Newborns in Need and each group was so appreciative. Now, our baskets are empty so we have room for more. It's a great way to use leftover yarn and we have free patterns (and yarn) if you need some inspiration!

You are invited to Knit Picky's Maryland Sheep & Wool Weekend Getaway.
Join us as we travel via motor coach, dine on the Baltimore waterfront, visit MamaE's cEYEber Fiber studio, lodge in the Columbia Hilton and enjoy a Sunday morning brunch. And of course...spend Saturday making our way through the vendors, exhibits and animals of the world renown MSAW festival!!
The cost of the trip is $317.50 and includes two nights lodging (two per room), transportation, lunch on Friday and brunch on Sunday.
A deposit of $100 holds your spot and is due by Sept 15, 2008. The second payment of $100 is due Dec 15, 2008 and the final payment of $117.50 is due Mar 15, 2009.
Or save $20.00 by paying in full, making the total $297.50.
