Squares for the blanket are due back in the shop on or before September 17th. Inger has volunteered to crochet the squares together and she needs ample time.
Models for our Hand Knit for the Fall Fashion Show are needed. I have spoken to a few ladies and hope you will participate. We need 10-12 volunteers. Email knitpicky@bellouth.net to sign up and please send me 3 or 4 potential items to model so I may begin our list.
Teachers needed! If you can donate an hour around lunch time, we need 8-10 knitting instructors to help teach BEGINNER Knitting. This will be a fun event and our goal it to get people knitting the garter stitch only and begin to love the fiber arts as we do.
If you can help out for this worthy and educational event, please let me know....this event will be here before we can bind off a scarf!

Hope you are doing well and enjoying these cooler temperatures. I always think fall is here when we are teased with early September breezes.
But in the south, September can be deceiving! Maybe this year we are done with scorching days and are easing into the exciting chill of fall!

 Magic Loop Sock Class!
Starts this Saturday...
Most of you have seen socks on the needles. And once you knit a pair they become addictive!
A hand-knit pair of socks makes a terrific gift for someone special.
We have a few spaces left if you'd like to learn this clever way of knitting socks on one long needle. We have 4 session, two hours each, so you will definitely complete one full sock and possibly start the second. Don't be afraid to try....if you can knit and purl, you can learn from Susan's excellent teaching method.
